About Us

We believe that every website/page needs to have its own personality and uniqueness.  That's why we at Irannegaar have decided to stick with the basics.  The following are some of the design principles that we consider in creating your website/page.

Also, since  this type of delivery has its own jargon, we've thought it be helpful if we defined a few "buzzswords."  This way, when we're creating a web presence for you, we're all on the same page!

Design Principles:

A good web page or site needs to have the following requirements:

  • A faint background that has contrast with images and text within the page/site. Dark backgrounds need to have light colored text and images for the page to look presentable on the web.  Unfortunately, while it may look great on your monitor it won't print well at all.
  • Images need to be kept in proportionate size.  Please keep in mind that many people still do not have the best and greatest computers. Therefore, if the image takes too long to download, you've already lost your audiences' interest in your services.
  • Easy accessibility. Whether the site is small or large, your information needs to be within easy reach.  The intended audience won't appreciate "digging" for ten minutes to get to their desired location.  If it takes more than three links to get to a point, then re-evaluation of the website/page is needed.
  • Jazz but no jive.  Creating pages with special effects, animations by using javascripts or Dynamic HTML is the trend now, however, bear in mind that Microsoft Internet Explorer and Netscape still haven't developed browser standards.  Therefore, what might look really pleasing to the eye in one browser might not be even accessible in the other.

Terminologies

Web Page - One page that contains a graphic of your choosing with your services, menu, resume, etc.  It could be short or long, but it's only one page.

WebsiteContains at least 2 or more pages with links to other pages such as this site.

Background - the default of a web page is white unless you choose a different color or texture for it such as this one.

Interactive Form - An interactive form is like any other form except that it is on line and the responses on the form can be sent electronically to the person in charge.  This will require the receiving party to have an email address for this to work.

Frames - It is actually three pages that are linked together.  Some have borders so that you can distinguish between the three pages and some don't.  This technique works well with very large websites.
